Icontrol awarded patents for delivery of integrated home security, automation solutions

Icontrol Networks announces that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has granted the company two new home security and automation patents. These include: Patent 8,988,221 covers an integrated security and home automation panel that includes prioritized power management between functions, remote access, multi-network device event transmission, and the creation and management of local networks including Wi-Fi, Z-Wave and ZigBee.

Patent 8,836,467 defines systems and methods that provide streamlined installation and remote configuration of home security and automation systems.
