Convergint continues growth with addition of Dakota Security Systems
Systems integrator Convergint Technologies has expanded its geographical reach with the acquisition of Dakota Security Systems, which has office in South Dakota, Arizona, New Jersey and throughout the upper Midwest.

The new acquisition strengthens Convergint’s position in North America and provides access to new vertical markets, said Dan Moceri, executive chairman of Convergint Technologies. Together, Convergint and Dakota will form a robust provider of physical security and fire solutions. The joint organization provides a diverse range of service-focused security and fire solutions, including system design, integration, installation, training and support services with an experienced workforce.
