CANASA announces monitoring symposium agenda
The Canadian Security Association has announced the line-up for its annual monitoring station symposium, held this year on Oct. 20 at the International Plaza Hotel, Toronto.

Highlights of the day include an opening address from Carolyn Sweenie, Sergeant with the Toronto Police Service, on alarm response policy, and a session from Pam Petrow, President of CSAA International, on educational opportunities.
CANASA’s new president Richard McMullen will also provide an update on the organization’s activities and attendees are invited to participate in a roundtable discussion on the state of the industry chaired by SP&T News editor Neil Sutton and Kim Caron, director of business development for Armstrong’s National Alarm Monitoring and national chair of CANASA’s Central Station Committee.
