According to the vendor, the addition of the CellComRT module to the existing line of DMP Digital Communicators gives installers the flexibility to add cellular to all XT Series and XR100/500 DMP burglary and access panels.

The CellComRT Remote Communicator allows remote mounting of the cellular unit up to 250 feet from the panel, is compatible with the both the XR100 and XR500 panels, and includes the appropriate antenna. Its cellular data throttling protects users from unexpectedly high cellphone charges: When cell data traffic exceeds preset limits, the panel automatically suppresses cellular traffic beginning with non-alarm messages.

The CellCom Digital Cellular Communicator can be powered directly from the panel using the provided four-wire harness or from an optional 12VDC Plug-in Power Supply. Low current draw provides longer battery life during power outages. The module supports all the standard cellular diagnostics provided by the XR100/500. For government applications, DMP offers NIST-approved and UL Listed AES encrypted communication when using it with the XR500 E panel.
