Programmable locking system
Videx has released the CyberLock electronic lock system, which is intended to provide schools with an easy means of key control. The system works with preexisting hardware and uses electronic cylinders and keys which can be programmed to allow access to specific locks at specific times. If keys are lost, they can be removed from the system. CyberLock also includes an audit system, which allows traffic tracking.

Never forget your keys again
Weiser has released the SmartCode lock, a numerical lock for residential applications. The lock can be easily rekeyed by the end user, can store several numbers and has an optional automatic locking feature. It also has a lighted keypad, and is available in satin nickel, Venetian bronze or polished brass finishes.

Lock can integrate with existing hardware
RCI has announced the DE8310 delayed egress electromagnetic lock, which helps with safety, loss prevention and traffic control. The lock has a pressure-detecting sensor, can integrate with preexisting door hardware and uses a red and green light panel to indicate status. It is also available with CCTV monitoring and voice options.
