Pelco
may have been one of the last of the independent large-scale security
product manufacturers but its purchase by Schneider announced earlier
this month is not being mourned but seen as a positive step forward for
the company.
Students
returned to Dawson College on Aug. 22, less than a year after a
shooting rampage that resulted in one student dead and 20 others
injured. But students were feeling safer as a result of several
improvements at the school designed to increase their safety in a
crisis.
The
speakers are set and registration is being accepted to the Canadian
Security Association's (CANASA) Security Canada Central, Oct. 17 – 18
at the Toronto Congress Centre.
