SecurTek acquires customer accounts for $2 million
Written by Staff 16 May 2012
SecurTek Monitoring Solutions, a Sasktel company, is investing approximately $2.0 million to acquire the customer accounts of Intercept Security, a security monitoring provider that has been serving Alberta homes, families and businesses for more than 20 years.
“This latest acquisition is an important move in consolidating SecurTek’s market reach,” said Ron Styles, SaskTel President and CEO. “We have been providing wholesale monitoring services to Intercept for some time. Taking over their monitored security accounts was a natural next step and we are always looking for these kind of solid acquisitions to keep SecurTek growing strong.”
The new accounts will be serviced by SecurTek Authorized Dealers including Guardian Security, One Stop Security and Diginex Solutions in Calgary and Authority Alarms in Edmonton.
