Montreal-based MuxLab Inc., a designer and manufacturer of security video and audio-video connectivity solutions for copper twisted pair, has added the HDMI Econo Extender Kit (500400) to its AV connectivity portfolio.

The product allows one HDMI source to be connected via two Cat5e twisted pair 60 metres and 30 metres respectively via Cat6 cable. Developed for the custom residential and commercial AV market, the HDMI Econo Extender Kit streamlines cabling in applications such as: home theatre, digital signage, boardroom projector systems and classroom training systems, reducing the typical costs associated with single-use HDMI cable. The package includes one transmitter, one receiver and one power supply, and comes with a two-year year warranty. It complies with HDMI 1.2 and FCC Class A standards.
