Infinova’s HD cameras use lower bit rates

Infinova’s V1772N-10G Series 2.0 megapixel IP PTZ dome cameras adopt a 1 / 2.5 inch progressive scanning CMOS sensor with a built-in 10X optical zoom lens, providing users with a high-definition, high frame rate and high signal to noise (SNR) real-time image acquisition system.

Users can view and control H.264/M-JPEG dual encoded HD video, up to 1920 x 1080, and support three video streams, dual H.264 and scalable M-JPEG.  The new 2.0 megapixel cameras are helpful when used in applications that need good video quality but at substantially lower bit rates than previous standards to save on both bandwidth and storage space.
