Bosch Security Systems Inc. has released the ZX55 Infrared Imager, a long-range camera for critical outdoor surveillance applications.
Available in IP and analogue, the camera captures detailed scenes up to
1,000 feet (300 meters) in total darkness. Using Black Diamond infrared
illumination technology and a 9-90 mm varifocal, IR-corrected lens, the
ZX55 captures the details needed to distinguish facial features at
distances of up to 350 feet (110 meters). The camera delivers full
Detection, Classification, Recognition and Identification
capabilities.
In addition, Bosch’s on-board video content analysis, an available
option for the ZX55-IP, can detect behaviours such as loitering,
tripwire, object removed and idle object. The product features
weather-sealed housing for use in a variety of environments, including
intense direct sunlight.
