Vancouver-based Avigilon has promoted Keith Marett to Vice-President of Marketing and Communications and Amir Javidan to Vice-President of Customer Service and IT.

According Avigilon, Marett played a key role in the company’s IPO in November 2011.

“Since joining Avigilon, Keith has successfully led the company’s rebranding initiative, significantly raising our corporate brand image around the world,” said Alexander Fernandes, President and CEO of Avigilon. “Keith exemplifies the type of dedication, resourcefulness, and leadership talent that will propel Avigilon to even greater success and continued growth.”

Avigilon says Javidan managed the complete overhaul of the company's IT systems and established an IT team to optimize the company’s operations and facilitate its continued growth.

“Amir and his team are routinely praised by our customers and partners for providing the best customer service in the industry. He has also been instrumental in building Avigilon’s IT systems and IT team to manage the operations needed to handle our exponential growth,” said Fernandes. “This promotion is in recognition of these achievements and Amir’s dedication to Avigilon’s success.”
