AMAG appoints director of business development, government systems

Based in the Arlington, Va., office, Kaltenbaugh will be responsible for developing business within federal government departments and agencies, including the U.S. Department of Defense, and for supporting AMAG’s government reseller partners on strategic opportunities and initiatives.

“We are delighted to have Ryan join AMAG Technology,” said Mike Mostow, vice-president of AMAG Technology’s Government Systems. “Ryan’s extensive experience and knowledge of high-level business development and security information management systems compliments our Government Systems group.  We are thrilled that he has chosen to join our team and are confident that he will be a great asset to our government market customers and reseller partners.”

Kaltenbaugh has more than 15 years of experience in the security industry working for national and global security integrators, as well as software providers, in service, sales and marketing. Most recently, Kaltenbaugh was Regional Sales Manager at Niscayah for the mid-Atlantic region. Prior to this, Kaltenbaugh was vice-president of global marketing and strategic partnerships at videoNEXT, a video surveillance software company, and has also held national and government account management positions with global integrators.
