Delta Scientific has announced that it now offers over 50 hydraulic barrier, barricade, bollard and crash gate designs that can be run manually or on vegetable oils. 

The units typically remain in the upright position to protect the facility from terrorists and errant drivers. To let authorized vehicles through, they are lowered and then raised once again when the vehicle has passed.

Delta offers 18 styles of barricades, bollards, gates and beams with electromechanical power, pneumatic power and hand operation. The hydraulic systems use a patented low duty cycle design that reduces the motor size by three fold or more. Its manually operated products are the ultimate in zero carbon footprint, simplicity, low maintenance and quiet operation.
