AirPatrol Corp.‘s Rapid Deployment Sensor (RDS) is a wireless intrusion detection system designed for temporary wireless security deployments, wireless vulnerability assessments and white hat penetration tests.
The RDS, a standard WLS Sensor, a wireless mesh backhaul and a
rechargeable battery packaged in a compact, ruggedized, weatherproof
case — is used with AirPatrol's Wireless Locator System. Its built-in
wireless mesh node eliminates the need for network cabling between
sensors. Features include detection capabilities for 802.11 a/b/g/n
devices; accurate detection of cellphones in the 824-849 and the
1850-1910 MHz bands and iDEN cellular devices in the 806-824 MHz bands;
a high-impact, weather-proof portable case; and a network pass-through
data port.
