Keyscan launches centrally managed access control

Written by  Staff January 24, 2012
Keyscan has launched Keyscan Hosted Services (KHS), a centrally managed access control (CMAC) solution.
According to the company, KHS allows dealers the opportunity to create a new CMAC business model, offering remote and RMR-based access control services to their customers while avoiding the upfront expense of implementing their own central host service.

"Keyscan Hosted Services takes all the elements involved in a typical access control installation and moves them to our central location," says Steve Dentinger, Keyscan Director of Sales and Marketing. "The result is a convenient service designed to help our dealers enter the centrally managed access control business model and build intrinsic value to their business."

KHS requires an Internet connection and K-WEB software. If dealers choose to implement their own hosted service at a later time, Keyscan says it will assist them in the transfer of hosting.
